Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park & Afternoon Game Drive
The journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your location in Dar es Salaam, typically around 6:00 AM. You will embark on the roughly 5 to 6-hour road transfer to Mikumi National Park, utilizing a comfortable, private 4×4 safari vehicle.
Upon arrival, you will head directly to your designated lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to your first intensive game drive on the vast Mkata Floodplain, an area famous for its open savannah and high density of wildlife.
